2018 — My favourite Wedding moments of the year

Here are some of my best wed­ding pho­tographs of 2018.

It’s always a joy to look back at the end of the year, to reflect on what has gone. Such vari­ety, such love­ly cou­ples, so much in love. 

Win­ter or Sum­mer, Autumn or Spring

Rain or shine, inside or outdoors

What­ev­er the sea­son and what­ev­er the weath­er, wed­dings are amazing.

Essen­tial­ly the same sequence of events at each but dif­fer­ent in so many ways, that’s what I love about them

It’s that com­bi­na­tion of that cou­ple, their day, those guests, all meld­ed togeth­er to make some­thing spe­cial, some­thing unique, that deserves to be captured

So with a year of wed­dings to look back on how to dis­till it down to a few favourite images??

Well, in short, I couldn’t!!

Wed­dings at Lyde Court, Arley Arbore­tum, Cut­tle Brook, Avon­croft Muse­um, Oxwich Bay, The Elec­tric Cin­e­ma and many more.

Church­es, old barns, tip­is, old paint fac­to­ries, coun­try hous­es, muse­ums, an Ital­ian gar­den, fields, a town hall, mar­quees, a beach, an old phone box.

Swigs from hip flasks, test your strength machines, trac­tor rides, vin­tage cars and fly­ing flower girls.

Hands clasped to the mouth in an “Oh my Good­ness” moment.

Wip­ing a tear from the eye as they say “I Do”.

Laughs, many many laughs.

So what you have in this video is 220 images, in just 2 min­utes and 20 sec­onds, a whis­tle stop tour of my 2018 favourites, fast and furi­ous a wed­ding smorgasbord!!
