This Worces­ter­shire Farm Wed­ding was a first — pho­tog­ra­phy seems to be like that! 

Walk­ing back from the Church at Stone on the out­skirts of Kid­der­min­ster, fol­low­ing the Bride & Groom as they rode in a trail­er being pulled by a trac­tor with the Father of the Bride at the wheel

What should hap­pen? He stalled the trac­tor! Doh!!

So of course down jumps the groom to try and give him a push start before 6 of his mates arrived to add some more mus­cle and get them mov­ing again….but I’m get­ting ahead of myself

Documentary Worcestershire Farm Wedding Photography

When a farmer’s son mar­ried a farmer’s daugh­ter then I guess you’d expect it to be a bit well.…..farmery.…and you’d be right!!

We had Bridal prep at the Bride’s fam­i­ly farm, a wed­ding recep­tion on the Grooms fam­i­ly farm, and a wed­ding break­fast com­pris­ing lots and lots of local farm pro­duce.…. so very farmery!!

Hav­ing spent the morn­ing with Alice and her fam­i­ly I head­ed not for the Church at Stone, but a field, look­ing for some grooms­men and a groom!

Turn­ing off the road and through a gate and towards a dis­tant field where the mar­quee was I wound down my win­dow to hear Led Zep­pelin’s ‘Whole Lot­ta Love’ blast­ing out into the coun­try air — what a tune!!

I’m sure that the boys had some real­ly impor­tant final set­ting up to do, like check­ing the seat­ing plan, the name cards and err….tasting the beer…vital work boys

Qual­i­ty con­trol done, time to head to the church. But no limos or taxis for these boys. When it’s a coun­try wed­ding and the church is only half a mile away, then a trac­tor is the way to ride

After the Church…a trac­tor ride back to the farm of course.….and the push start!! Then a mar­quee recep­tion with cows for neigh­bours, an appear­ance from the cou­ples heav­i­ly preg­nant dog and a par­ty which I’m sure con­tin­ued until the small hours
