Tractor rides. cows & dogs, local farm produce and a bit of Led Zeppelin!!!
This Worcestershire Farm Wedding was a first — photography seems to be like that!
Walking back from the Church at Stone on the outskirts of Kidderminster, following the Bride & Groom as they rode in a trailer being pulled by a tractor with the Father of the Bride at the wheel
What should happen? He stalled the tractor! Doh!!
So of course down jumps the groom to try and give him a push start before 6 of his mates arrived to add some more muscle and get them moving again….but I’m getting ahead of myself

Documentary Worcestershire Farm Wedding Photography
When a farmer’s son married a farmer’s daughter then I guess you’d expect it to be a bit well.…..farmery.…and you’d be right!!
We had Bridal prep at the Bride’s family farm, a wedding reception on the Grooms family farm, and a wedding breakfast comprising lots and lots of local farm produce.…. so very farmery!!
Having spent the morning with Alice and her family I headed not for the Church at Stone, but a field, looking for some groomsmen and a groom!
Turning off the road and through a gate and towards a distant field where the marquee was I wound down my window to hear Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ blasting out into the country air — what a tune!!
I’m sure that the boys had some really important final setting up to do, like checking the seating plan, the name cards and err….tasting the beer…vital work boys
Candid, unposed, documentary wedding photographer
Quality control done, time to head to the church. But no limos or taxis for these boys. When it’s a country wedding and the church is only half a mile away, then a tractor is the way to ride
After the Church…a tractor ride back to the farm of course.….and the push start!! Then a marquee reception with cows for neighbours, an appearance from the couples heavily pregnant dog and a party which I’m sure continued until the small hours
Of course, if you’d like to have a chat about your wedding photography then please get in touch!!
