Plug in your final des­ti­na­tion and your sat-nav will map you a route default­ing to those blue lines that criss-cross all over the country

Leave them though, bypass the ‘A’ roads and you find all sorts of things tucked away down coun­try lanes, unseen from the con­crete high­ways that whizz you (some­times!) around

As the M42 carves its way through rur­al War­wick­shire it’s unlike­ly you’d realise that only a few miles away is Shus­toke Barn. It’s a col­lec­tion of 18th cen­tu­ry red brick build­ings, full of char­ac­ter and charm, and where Char­lotte & Scott got mar­ried. As part of the Cripps & Co col­lec­tion of wed­ding venues you get oodles of pro­fes­sion­al but won­der­ful indi­vid­u­al­i­ty at the barn. Amongst oth­ers, they also own Thor­pe Gar­dens and Cripps Barn.

The pri­vate court­yard to the rear is per­fect for your drinks recep­tion has real­ly has the feel of the med.

Before the ‘I dos’ though there has to be some get­ting ready. Char­lotte and her brides­maids were a few miles away in a coun­try hotel, all pret­ty chilled, enjoy­ing some girly time.

Who knew that there are videos on YouTube show­ing you how to fas­ten up a wed­ding dress?!

Well there are, and one of them was put to use when it was time for the bride to get dressed. Good job the wi-fi was working!!
