Sum­mer has final­ly arrived!!!

On what was the hottest Ear­ly May Bank Hol­i­day since records began (prob­a­bly), I got sun­stroke (pos­si­bly) and Lizzy and Matt got mar­ried (most definitely!!!)

Tucked away in the War­wick­shire coun­try­side, not too far from the Bride’s home­town of Leam­ing­ton Spa, is Wethele Manor, which is a sim­ply fab­u­lous wed­ding venue and great for wed­ding photography!

Getting Ready

When the Bride & Groom are both get­ting ready at the venue then you get this fan­tas­tic oppor­tu­ni­ty to cap­ture the build up to the cer­e­mo­ny from both points of view, float­ing around between the two, get­ting dou­ble the atmos­phere. Lizzie and her Bride squad were in a chalet in a seclud­ed pri­vate area by a pool. Matt was with the boys inside the manor house.

This was a wed­ding with a real­ly relaxed, chilled vibe and the sun­shine was just per­fect for it

Then you of course get the won­der­ful moment that the whole day is built around, when the Bride & Groom come togeth­er for the ‘I dos’ and the ‘I wills’ and often a few tears too.

One thing to mention…..that gor­geous and ele­gant dress….designed and made by one of Lizzy’s Bridesmaids!!!

They had an indoor legal cer­e­mo­ny fol­lowed by an out­door bless­ing, con­duct­ed by a fam­i­ly friend. Wethele Manor offers many options both for wed­dings and photograpy!

After that? Well, when the sun is shin­ing it’s time to drink, eat and make mer­ry of course!!

When it came to the speech­es Matt def­i­nite­ly earned him­self some hus­band points by using his con­nec­tions to get video mes­sages of con­grat­u­la­tions from var­i­ous bands — v cool

To be fair, he did then have to endure a roast­ing from his two Best Men in their speech, but that’s par for the course isn’t it!

One of the sweet­est moments dur­ing the day was when the Grooms two Grand­mas embraced and then lat­er on in the evening all three of his grand­par­ents hit the dancefloor!

Evening enter­tain­ment start­ed with a ceilidh. These are a BRILLIANT way to get lots of your guests up and tak­ing part, even the most reluc­tant of dancers!
